John Daly, the man can do it all.
We’re talking about a pro golfer who has won two of the most prestigious golf tournaments in the world, along with the fact that he used to be able to drink 35-40 beers in a day and THEN start on the liquor, AND THEN… go play golf the next morning.
Not to mention, the guy can hit the golf ball a country mile, he’s a frequent flyer at Hooters, is a pro belly flopper, and on top of that, he also recorded a country album featuring Willie Nelson.
Needless to say, ol’ Daly is one of a kind.
Although many aspects of his intriguing lifestyle have been documented over the years, there’s one thing I didn’t know about the guy…
He was a kicker and punter for Helias High School in Jefferson City, Missouri back in the day. And no, I’m not talking about a high school kicker who can barely kick it over the crossbar during an extra point. I’m talking about a high school kicker who could absolutely BOOM it.
And if we needed proof of this, it’s all right here.
An old video clip is going viral of Daly attending a Denver Broncos practice back in 1992, and in the clip, Daly absolutely drills a 50-yard field goal with his left leg.
I mean c’mon, making a field goal in general is incredibly tough for the average person, but this guy knocked in a whole 50-yarder.
What can’t he do?
