Back in April, when Bud Light partnered with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, we saw a massive wave of protests begin.
We’ve seen country stars such as Kid Rock, Travis Tritt, John Rich, and Brantley Gilbert protest the beer.
On top of that, we’ve seen several pictures and videos of the Bud Light coolers being completely untouched at grocery stores, bars, concerts, sporting events, and more.
In fact, it has gotten so bad that Bud Light has been surpassed by Modelo as America’s favorite beer, and Anheuser-Busch has lost so much money that they’ve been forced to sell eight of their brands to Tilray, a Canadian cannabis company.
We’ve seen Bud Light try to walk back their move by issuing a borderline apology, but that upset the LGBTQ+ community, causing that group to boycott the beer because they felt the brand turned their back on them.
Needless to say, things are looking more grim for Bud Light and Anheuser-Busch than they’ve ever been, and it’s not looking up anytime soon as people continue to protest.
However, it appears one person in particular has given up on the protest, and it’s one of the first who spoke out – and probably the last person you’d expect…
And I’m talking about Kid Rock.
The polarizing, and far right conservative country rocker was seen drinking a Bud Light at a Colt Ford concert at Nashville’s Skydeck at Assembly Hall.
Sure enough, you can see Mr. Rock in the VIP section with a Bud Light in his hand.
And TMZ also posted further photos showing that, yes, Mr. Rock was actually drinking the Bud Light and not just holding it for a friend.
This is pretty strange, considering the man posted a video of himself shooting up a bunch of Bud Light cases with his assault rifle back in April.
It’s a surprising move, considering he’s been one of the loudest protestors against the brand since the Mulvaney move.
