Carly Pearce’s new era of music is here.

She released a new song called “Country Music Made Me Do It” today, the second single she’s released in the last month or so that will be featured on a forthcoming (unofficially announced) album.

A sweet love letter to her favorite genre, Carly says this song is representative of the entire next chapter of music she has coming, and I definitely think it will also be a fun one to sing along to at her live shows:

“‘Country Music Made Me Do It’ is the essence of this next chapter for me.

I wrote this song as an autobiographical anthem, but I can’t wait to hear the ways YOUR story has been influenced by country music.”

Carly also announced her tour of the same name earlier this week, which will feature Adam Doleac and Hannah Ellis as openers:
