KELLY CLARKSON FROM THE  TOP ROPE.

We all know Clarkson as one of the most likeable personalities in the pop industry, and she’s never been afraid to state her opinion.

I mean c’mon, we all remember her going off about the state of country music back in 2019, saying:

“You know why? Because country doesn’t sound country anymore. Country music is GONE. I don’t know who’s making it but there might be like four people…”

She also addressed the lack of women on country radio.

“Y’all don’t play people with boobs either…”

She also can cover a country song like nobody’s business… seriously Kelly, when are we getting that country project?

But now, Clarkson is back in the spotlight in an unhinged, and hilarious way.

It all went down when the OG American Idol winner was playing her Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood’s Bakkt Theatre this past Saturday.

One woman in the crowd was holding a sign saying that her girlfriend was giving her a “hall pass” for Clarkson.

The 41-year-old hilariously responded:

“My girlfriend gave me a hall pass for you.”

However, Clarkson had to hit her with the news:

“If I was into chicks, I’d take up the offer… I just unfortunately like dicks.”

Ol’ Kelly C breaking hearts out here left and right.

You have to love the fan interaction though.

Kelly Clarkson Covers Chris Stapleton’s “You Should Probably Leave”

Kellyoke is one of the best segments on daytime TV.

It’s also the only one that I watch on a semi-regular basis, but that’s beside the point.

Kelly Clarkson is known to cover country songs quite often on her show, and usually she pulls from many different genres across the musical spectrum.

Awhile back, she chose to perform “You Should Probably Leave” by Chris Stapleton for the live audience, which of course sounds fantastic. I truly have not heard her botch a cover yet.

The song actually became Chris’ third career #1 hit at country radio, and had been a fan-favorite for many years prior. Co-written with Ashley Gorley and Chris DuBois, he finally included it on his 2020 Starting Over record

A bluesy tune about bad decisions and two lovers who know they shouldn’t be together but want that more than anything, it was one of my favorite’s from Starting Over, which had an impressive tracklist from top to bottom.

And next time, seeing as they both have incredible, off the charts vocals and can sing their asses off, I think Chris and Kelly should make this a duet…
