If you’re not listening to the new Kolby Cooper at maximum volume, you’re doing it wrong.

He just released “Kill Me,” a super rockin’, upbeat song co-written by Kolby along with Michael Whitworth and producer Andrew Baylis.

Of the new track, Kolby says it encapsulates a sound he’s been working towards for quite a while now, adding it’s one of his favorite songs he’s ever made:

“Kill Me is the beginning of the next chapter of what we’re doing. It’s the sound we’ve been working for since I was 18.

So to have one of my favorite songs I’ve ever been a part of creating being so close to coming out I’m shaking. I can’t wait for everyone to hear how hard we’ve worked!”

He added that, at it’s core, “Kill Me” is about balance and the struggle that comes along with chasing a cheap thrill:

“‘Kill Me’ is a song about addiction – love, drugs, or life in general. Everyone is out here chasing a cheap thrill and that’s what this song is about. The struggle to keep it all balanced.”

The production is perfect, and definitely has a rock edge to it that, coupled with the catchy melody, makes it a standout and honestly, one of my favorite songs he’s ever released too.
