It must be a tough life for Patrick Mahomes.

The star Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is arguably the best QB in the NFL at the moment, and seems like a pretty cool guy himself who enjoys a Coors Light… or a hundred.

However, it’s his wife, Brittany, and brother Jackson who are absolutely insufferable.

We already know the insanely long list of Jackson’s shortcomings, which includes TikTok dancing on Sean Taylor’s memorial, and forcibly kissing a Kansas City restaurant owner without her consent, which resulted in an arrest and charges on three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one of battery.

But, Brittany doesn’t make it easy for herself either.

From her cringey screaming that would make a hyena want to cover its ears after each Kansas City win, to running her mouth on social media and getting defensive when people begin to call her out on it.

Needless to say, this face from Pat while sitting next to Brittany at the Lakers vs. Mavericks game back in February says it all:

And now, Brittany is under fire yet again, and this time the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is even going after her.

It all stems from a recent Instagram post she posted, where she posted a pic of her “snuggling” a dolphin, looking like she’s gripping onto the creature pretty tight:

“Ever snuggled a 400lbs dolphin?”

And boy, the comments were wild.

PETA wrote a lengthy response, writing:

“We know you love companion animals, but we hope to see you extend your compassion to marine life too. In the ocean, dolphins swim up to 60 miles each day, but when used for entertainment, they’re confined to small tanks or pools.

Many dolphins develop painful conditions, such as stomach ulcers, and some die prematurely from the stressful conditions of extreme captivity.

Not to mention, many illnesses can be passed from dolphins to human visitors, including viral, fungal, and bacterial infections such as salmonella. These types of interactions are dangerous for them AND us.”

And the other comments:

“No because I don’t support places that put them in captivity.”

“Please educate yourself on dolphins in captivity! It is hell for these beautiful creatures.”

“This is really disappointing that you don’t recognize the cruelty!”

“This is extremely disappointing Brit.. if they told you it’s a sanctuary, they lied. Sanctuaries don’t allow people to swim with dolphins. Do research on Captive dolphins. I recommend watching the documentary, ‘The Cove'”

“I’m sorry that you didn’t have prior knowledge that this is cruelty to dolphins.”

She has since made her Instagram posts unable to be embedded:
