Attempting to remain calm…

Ladies and gentlemen, I think the day has come that new Chris Stapleton is on the horizon.

While we still have been gifted with phenomenal cover projects and collaborations, we have longed for a classic Chris Stapleton original since his 2020 album, Starting Over.

Don’t get me wrong; it is safe the say that the collaboration projects have been phenomenal. But something about the songwriting from Chris and then having Morgane on the supporting vocals never disappoints.

Earlier this week, Stapleton played a song not on his current discography, “Crosswind, ” during his show in Syracuse, New York.

After some quick searching, it seems he also played this song back in March in Durant, Oklahoma. But has not been consistently performing it at all of his shows on his All-American Roadshow Tour

It seems like he is dropping slight hints of new music, but also likes keeping fans on their toes.

When playing it Durant, he introduces it by saying:

“This is the truck driver song. It’s called ‘Crosswind.'”

The song is the bread and butter of what keeps fans coming back to Stapleton, and we can only hope it means that we are looking at a new music announcement int he near future.
