Bad news if you had tickets to see Koe Wetzel this weekend.
He just shared an update on Instagram that during his show in Nashville last night at Ascend Amphitheater, he could tell that his voice was starting to go out in the middle of the set.
Koe says he woke up this morning unable to speak at all, and after seeing the doctor, is going to have to reschedule the rest of his shows this weekend after they recommended he give his vocals a break.
They will be making up tonight’s show in Huntsville, Alabama on July 22nd and the Little Rock, Arkansas show on July 21st.

“Hey y’all. It kills me to have to do this, but at last night’s show in Nashville I felt my voice going out half way through our set. Unfortunately, I woke up this morning not being able to speak at all.
Saw the doctor this morning and he recommended taking the weekend off. That being said, tonight’s show in Huntsville, AL and tomorrow night’s show in Little Rock, AR have been rescheduled.
We’ll be back in Little Rock on July 21 and Huntsville on July 22. Your tickets will still be valid for the new date. Please check your email for information regarding refunds should you no longer be able to attend. To all the fans who planned on coming out tonight, I sincerely apologize.
No one is more upset than I am but y’all deserve a show better than what I could give this weekend. I apologize again and hope to see everyone soon. Love y’all, Koe Wetzel.”
Koe shared the statement on all his social media, apologizing for having to cancel so last-minute and adding in the caption that “there is just no way I can perform the rest of this weekend”:
“I hate to have to do this, but there is just no way I can preform the rest of this weekend. I hope to see all of y’all at the rescheduled dates.
I apologize again and hope y’all have a great weekend, much love.”
This comes on the heels of Morgan Wallen going on mandatory vocal rest for six weeks starting earlier this week and having to reschedule tons of shows on his 2023 world tour.
They’re both following doctor’s orders and taking the right steps to make sure that they don’t permanently damage their voice, but of course, it’s disappointing for fans to have to wait a couple more months (in Koe’s case) to see him perform live.
Koe recently added a second leg to his Road to Hell Paso tour that will run through the fall, so hopefully, he’ll be back better than ever in no time.
