The countdown is over…well, kinda.

Last week, Luke Combs added a countdown clock to his website, teasing a “Special Announcement” coming today at 9 AM eastern time.

The speculation, obviously, was that he would be announcing his next album after he had been hinting that the project was in the home stretch and almost ready for the world to hear.

Well we finally have our answer – and a release date for LC3.

Luke announced this morning that his long-anticipated next album will FINALLY be dropping on June 24.

We didn’t get any details along with the announcement, but the album is already available for pre-save on Spotify and Apple Music.

And Luke has dropped quite a few teasers of studio versions for some unreleased new songs, like “Tomorrow Me,” “The Kind of Love We Make” and “Five Leaf Clover,” which he performed at the Grand Ole Opry earlier this year.

He also performed an unreleased song called “Joe” at the Grand Ole Opry, and dropped a couple singles with “South On Ya” and “Doin’ This,” but the album will be Luke’s first since he dropped What You See Is What You Get back in 2019.

So the countdown to Luke’s announcement in finally over, and I guess we can start a new countdown now.

June 24 people, mark it down.
