Season 5? Let’s GO.

We haven’t even got the official release date for the premiere of Yellowstone Season 4 yet, but we’re already getting confirmation that Season 5 is in the works.

After the Season 3 finale, Taylor Sheridan confirmed that the show could be finished after Season 6.

“Well, I know how it ends. I know how the series ends, and you have to move in a straight line toward that end. You can’t walk in circles, waiting to get there, because the show will stagnate.

So, you have to keep moving forward, and there have to be consequences in the world, and there has to be an evolution toward a conclusion. Can that be another two seasons beyond this? It could.”

Well, it’s at least going to Season 5.

In a new interview with Kathryn Hall, Cole Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler, already confirmed that Season 5 was in the works.

“Taylor’s working on it right now and I think we will be back sometime in July.

I’m looking forward to getting back to Montana… I mean, season 5 is going to be wonderful.”

He also added that fans would “happily surprised” with Season 4.

“The way we ended Season 4, I can’t give too much away, but the way Season 4 ends I think the audience is going to be happily surprised with a lot of things.”

Sounds like good news to me.

Paramount Network recently released the official Season 4 teaserwhich is mostly comprised of Season 3 clips, however right there at the end, they give is a clue as to the fate of John Dutton.

And they summed it up in one sentence…

“Revenge will be worth the wait.”

Buckle up.
