It’s been absolutely brutal waiting for even an inkling of news on the return of Paramount Network’s hit series Yellowstone, a fan favorite among the Whiskey Riffers. But it seems like they’ve heard us loud and clear.
After June came and went, fans started wondering what the fuck was going on… no trailer, no release date, no nothing. The latest rumorwas that Season 4 wasn’t going to premiere until OCTOBER, and while that sounds batshit crazy, given the pandemic, the Olympics, issues over streaming rights, the lack of any communication, reshooting, etc… fall seems more and more likely.
With everybody pissed off, they finally came clean with a gripping new teaser featuring the tagline:
“Revenge Will Be Worth The Wait”
Unfortunately, our worst fears have been realized and Yellowstone Season 4 won’t premiere until this coming fall.
According to Entertainment Weekly, new cast members joining season 4 include Jacki Weaver as “Caroline Warner,” the CEO of Market Equities; Piper Perabo as “Summer Higgins,” a protestor from Portland who is against the state funded police force that protects industrialized farming and the killing of animals; Kathryn Kelly as “Emily,” a vet tech who strikes up a relationship with the new cowboy; and Finn Little as “Carter,” a young boy reminiscent of a young Rip.
Weaver, Perabo and Kelly will appear in recurring roles with Little becoming a series regular. Will Patton (who plas Jamie’s real father Garrett Randall) will become be a series regular as well.
And while the teaser primarily uses old footage we do get to see Rip rushing to the aid of a recently shot John Dutton right there at the end.
