Another day, another airplane fight.
Of course, this isn’t quite as intense as the one earlier this week, when some psycho was claiming to be Balthazar, threatening to kill every man on the flight, and proceeded to stab a flight attendant in the neck with a broken spoon on a flight from Los Angeles to Boston.
It feels like every week we’re getting new video footage of somebody going wacko on an airplane, and when you’re in a secluded area with a bunch of people from every walk of life while flying 30,000 feet in the air, it can be a bit concerning every time you step on a flight.
And this one right here comes from a Southwest Airlines flight from Dallas to Phoenix on Monday.
In the footage, you can see one man wailing on a bald guy with tattoos, with other passengers trying to separate them.
At the end, you can hear the attacker say:
“I’m telling everybody what happened. He approached me aggressively with my family. Don’t play with my family. Tell them what happened, tell them what you did.
I will sit down in jail for you approaching my family, I will die for my family, that’s why I beat your ass.”
According to WFAA, both men were taken off the plane.
Southwest didn’t elaborate on what exactly went down, but they praised their staff for handling the situation in the best way possible:
“We commend (the flight crew) for managing the situation and ensuring the Safety and Comfort of the other Passengers in the cabin.”
If the bald guy really did aggressively run into the other’s family, I can sympathize with the guy for seeing red and going off on him.
Nevertheless, it’s always wild to see two people brawling it out on a flight… like, flying is annoying enough as it is…can’t we all relax?
