Miranda Lambert Releases Live Performance Video For Boozy Fan Favorite, “Tequila Does”

All hat, no cattle…

Nobody can put it quite like Miranda Lambert, which is why “Tequila Does,” a off her most recent, 2019 album Wildcard, needs to be her next single.

Written with Jon Randall and Jack Ingram, also her co-writers on the incredible ballad “Tin Man,” you can’t even help but dance when it comes on. It’s a pure country drinking song with a 70’s era vibe that sounds straight outta West Texas. It’s sassy, honest, and catchy as hell. And who doesn’t like tequila with a lime and spritz of steel guitar?

The concept in and of itself is actually genius. Comparing loser men to the incredible side effects of drinking tequila, where has this song been my entire life?  And, as I’m forever on the quest to advocate for real country on country radio, Miranda will tell you herself:

“‘Tequila Does’ is country. And country music makes me happy. No matter how rock or edgy or scorned you can get, when you come back to a country song with a steel guitar, it makes my soul feel like it’s on fire.”

Same.

Miranda recently released a live performance video, but when the time comes for that next single, make it this one.
