Josh Turner Covers The John Anderson Classic “Seminole Wind”

I’ll say it once, I’ll say it a million times…

And while I pretty much miss good country music on the radio in general, it’s still out there if you know where to look. And Josh is still out there too.

He stepped out onto his property recently to honor one of his heroes, a country artist on his Mount Rushmore of great country artists. Mr John Anderson.

“I think it’s good for soul… it’s good for the times that we’re in right now, I’m very blessed to be able to have a little bit of land where I can get outside and get away from all the craziness, but I’ve been talking about my Mount Rushmore of country music and I want focus on John Anderson right now… he’s always been my hero. He’s been one of the greatest country vocal stylists that we’ve ever had in this business and he’s just a down to earth, genuine, honest guy… I’m proud to call him my friend. I’ve learned a lot from him and I just love the way he approaches a song whether he’s writing it or singing… and he’s one those guys that taught me how to be Josh Turner.”

Straight outta 1992, Josh Turner with a toast to the great John Anderson, here’s “Seminole Wind.”
