Already a very highly-anticipated episode.
Of course, the talk of the country music world lately has been about the very public breakup between Zach Bryan and Barstool Sports personality Brianna Chickenfry.
Zach announced their breakup on Instagram on a Tuesday morning about two weeks ago saying that the breakup was official, and Brianna said she was “blindsided” by him making the news public after she thought they had agreed to keep it private for a little while.
She said in a video on YouTube the day he announced the breakup that she had been “crying for five days straight,” and she had given “every ounce of [herself] to someone” and was “completely discarded in a few days”:
“I’m probably not gonna post this for a little while, but I just woke up to Zach posting on his Instagram that we broke up, and I had no idea that post was going up.
He didn’t text me, he didn’t call me, I just woke up to a bunch of texts like ‘Are you okay?’ and I’m like, did my f*****n’ dad die? And yeah, so I’m like completely blindsided by that. I also genuinely feel like I have… see how swollen my face is?
I’ve been crying for, like, five days straight. Sorry if this video is gonna be a lot of jumping around, but I’m just at the point where it’s like, how can you give someone everything, and love them so unconditionally through stuff that you shouldn’t… because you just love them and you want them, you see the good in them…. this is so embarrassing.
I don’t give a f***. How can you give every ounce of yourself to someone and then be discarded in a few days? It’s really, really heartbreaking and I don’t wanna talk about details right now.”
Since then, her Barstool Sports boss Dave Portnoy has gone on the record to say he never really liked Zach, and even told a story about being banned from one of Zach’s concert along with co-host of the BFFs podcast Josh Richards, which Brianna is also part of.
They have really come out strong in support of her, going as far as to release a pretty scathing diss track about Zach yesterday evening, that has since been removed from YouTube today, which Portnoy was not happy about.
Needless to say, it’s kinda of been a big ‘ol circus, and Brianna previously said she planned to talk pretty in-depth about what went down once she was ready… I guess that’s the life of an influencer who has a job where they talk about their personal lives every week.
After BFF’s announced this morning they had a new episode dropping tomorrow, Brianna shared an Instagram story earlier that it was the “hardest” and “most vulnerable” episode she has ever done:
“Just recorded the hardest and most vulnerable episode I’ve ever done. Feel like I’m gonna puke lol.”
Stay tuned… sounds like we’re getting the nitty gritty details from her side of the story tomorrow:

While the video is still gone from Youtube, you can watch the “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” diss track over on X:
