Not gonna lie, that would probably make a Bailey Zimmerman concert more enjoyable…
I’m not even going to act like I’m a big Bailey Zimmerman fan. He has one or two songs that I don’t immediately skip if they come on, but other than that…yeah, I’ll pass.
I’ve seen Bailey live once (he was on a festival that I was at, trust me, I wasn’t there to see Bailey Zimmerman) and his live show is…well, interesting. He was all over the stage, jumping, running…the whole thing was pretty frantic and he came across as kind of corny because of it. I’m sure he’s a good dude, just not really my cup of tea.
So honestly, I’m not sure if I would even be able to tell if he was tripping balls during his set, because that’s just kind of how he is all the time.
But according to Nickelback lead singer Chad Kroeger, Bailey WAS in fact “high off his ass” during a recent performance.
Both Bailey and Nickelback performed at Coast City Country Festival in Vancouver, BC, Canada this past weekend.
And I know what you’re thinking: Nickelback, headlining a country festival? I mean yeah, it’s a little weird, but then again are they really any less country than some of the acts that call themselves “country” and play these festivals? At least Nickelback’s actually good (and I will die on that hill, come at me).
So anyway, when Nickelback took to the stage for their headlining set, Kroeger let the audience in on an (alleged) bet that he had with Zimmerman, who performed directly before them:
“Bailey and I made a little bet with each other this afternoon on the boat. We said whoever loses has to play the show high on MDMA. Bailey lost.
