Morgan Wallen’s next single is heading to country radio soon.

It was just announced that “Cowgirls ft. ERNEST,” from his 2023 One Thing At A Time album, is headed to country radio as the eighth official single from the record. It will impact on April 8th.

The song was written by Ernest along with Rocky Block, Ashley Gorley, James Maddocks, and Ryan Vojtesak. Last year, upon the album’s release, “Cowgirls” debuted at #40 on the Billboard Hot 100, and remained on the chart for 20 weeks before falling off (because it wasn’t an official single at the time).

In addition, the song has already been certified Platinum by the RIAA.

Morgan recently scored his 11th #1 single at country radio when “Everything I Love” topped the Mediabase chart in December.

So far, “You Proof,” “Thought You Should Know,” “Thinkin’ Bout Me” and “Last Night,” all from One Thing At A Time, are also #1 hits from the album, and Morgan’s duet with Eric Church “Man Made A Bar” was at #2 on Mediabase last week.

“Cowgirls” was another quick fan-favorite after Morgan’s album dropped last year, and I’m sure it won’t be long until this one finds its way to the top spot at country radio like most of his other singles.
