If this bear was only in town for 20 minutes like the reports said, it managed to get a lot done in that short amount of time.
Think about it. In less time than it takes for you to rewatch that one episode of The Office for the 35th time, this brown bear ran into town, attacked five people, and then high tailed it out of there like the vigilante that it is.
A village in Slovakia was already on high alert when a fatal bear attack was reported in the nearby mountain ranges just two days before. Townspeople were hopeful that the danger would stay off in the distance in nature, but they then came face to face with that same danger when the bruin in this video below ran into town and wreaked havoc.

That is one of many videos that were taken by people within the Slovakian village of Liptovský Mikuláš as the bear made itself at home, and put the fear of God in others, for nearly half an hour. It has not been confirmed as the same bear that fatally attacked a woman in the mountains, though one could imagine it might be if the aggressive bear was still on the loose.
In other videos that were captured, the bear can be seen chasing people over fences, and even lunging and swinging its paw at an older man that was on the sidewalk. I don’t know of any horror movies revolving around bears (maybe besides Cocaine Bear), but if there was one, it would look something like these real life scenes that played out in Slovakia.
A translated Facebook post explained more details about the dangerous bear attacks:
“According to preliminary information, 5 people were injured (a 10-year-old girl, a 32-year-old man, a 49-year-old woman, a 58-year-old-woman, and a 72-year-old man). The bear spent about 20 minutes in the town centre, attacked five people and retreated into the woods.”
