Tom Brady Tied Tiger Woods In A Golf Tournament In Florida

So you’re telling me two GOATs tied?

It’s a little more complicated than that, considering Tom Brady is the GOAT of football, whereas Tiger Woods is the GOAT of golf. For Tom Brady to come into Tiger’s “arena” so to speak and tie with him is a rather impressive accomplishment. And possibly even enhances his GOAT status…

The 2024 Seminole Pro-Member took place yesterday at the prestigious Seminole Golf Club in Juno Beach, Florida, and the annual event drew in some of golf’s biggest names, as it normally does.

Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, and Collin Morikawa were some of the more well known golfers that teed it up in the tournament, but the biggest dog of the all the dogs that was there was none other than Tiger Woods.

But anyways, Tiger Woods was paired up with PGA of America CEO Seth Waugh, and the two of them together placed in tied for 33rd in Net. You know who else finished tied for 33rd in Net? Tom Brady, a member at Seminole Golf Club, and his partner Matt Cahill.

When looking at the Gross finish, which is the actual number of strokes without subtracting handicaps, the team of Brady/Cahill actually shot a 69, while the Woods/Waugh team shot a 70. As you can see in the scoreboard posted below:

I might have confused you with all of that net and gross talk up there, so to simplify it, Brady and his teammate beat Woods and his playing partner in outright total score, and then they tied when handicap was accounted for. I won’t even bother boring you with how handicaps work…

Still, if you can ever say that you beat or tied Tiger Woods in golf, you have to take the opportunity. Even though Woods had to withdraw from the last tournament he tried to compete in.

Looks like all of that practice that Tom Brady has been doing is paying off:
