Sounds like Cody Johnson  is sending another hit to country radio.

After scoring his second career #1 hit at mainstream radio with “The Painter” this past weekend (he’s had multiple on Texas radio, which a whole different thing), his song “Dirt Cheap” is his next official single coming to an FM station near you starting Monday, March 11th.

Written by Josh Phillips and included on Cody’s 2023 ninth studio album Leather, it’s a beautiful song that finds CoJo reflecting on what’s important to him and how he values memories and simple things over material wealth and possessions.

It’s a pretty much universally-relatable concept, and has quickly become a fan-favorite that I think will do really well at country radio too:

Cody also recently said that his deluxe Leather album is coming this fall, and will include 12 new songs, so stay tuned for more information there…
