God bless Toby Keith.

Every since the Big Dog Daddy passed away on February 5, tributes have been pouring in for the ’90s country legend. From Darius Rucker to Zach Bryan and Flatland Cavalry, it seems there aren’t many in country music who weren’t fans of Toby and his music.

Of course Toby had quite a few fans outside of country music too. Even Stephen Colbert, who may seem like the total opposite of a guy like Toby Keith, mourned the loss of his “unlikely” friend after his passing.

And it seems like Post Malone was a big Toby Keith guy too.

It’s not really a surprise since Posty has been dipping his toe into country music quite a bit lately. He was featured on the first single from Hardy’s new album, Hixtape Vol. 3: Difftapeand joined Morgan Wallen and Hardy for a tribute to Joe Diffie on “Pickup Man” at the 2023 CMA Awards.

And more recently, Post dropped a teaser of the next song from his country era, a duet with Luke Combs.

Well while he was hanging out with some of his country music friends, Post Malone and Ernest also took some time to pay tribute to ol’ Toby Keith, jamming out on his hit “Courtesy of the Red, White & Blue (The Angry American).”

Of course everybody knows that song, whether you’re a country fan or not, but Posty’s definitely been showing off his country chops here lately.

And just look at how hyped he was…but then again, who can blame him when you’re singing that one (and when you have that many beers on the table).
