Put some twang on it.

Kolby Cooper is putting his twist on the Taylor Swift classic “Love Story.” Maybe the clips of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce dancing to the 2008 hit that is sparking people’s memory that it’s a banger, but I am here for the resurgence of the track.

During a recent show at Stephenville, Texas, Kolby Cooper took to the stage performing the track. Cooper led into the Taylor Swift hit after he performed his cover of Little Texas’ “My Love.”

Cooper released the cover of the ’90s hit last week and has been getting lots of love on the track as he moved away from his Southern rock sound, displaying his talent through a more classic sound. But I don’t think the audience was expecting to hear him cover Taylor Swift following Little Texas, making for an electric response.

As he added a little rock flare to the song to the song with beefier guitar riffs, you can hear the audience yelling each word alongside Cooper.

“Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone
I’ll be waiting; all there’s left to do is run
You’ll be the prince, and I’ll be the princess
It’s a love story, baby, just say, ‘Yes.'”

I am no Swiftie by any means, but you can’t help but love a cover of a song from early in Swift’s career like this. Long live country Taylor Swift.

Check it out.
