Putting his riff on a classic country track.

Kolby Cooper is moving away from his country rock sound to lay down a cover of Little Texas’ hit song “My Love.” Little Texas released the track 1993 on their album Big Time.

The song was co-written by the band’s keys player, Brady Seals, and lead guitarist Porter Howell. It was a massive success for the group, peaking at number one on the US Hot Country Songs Billboard chart.

Cooper’s take on the track perfectly highlights the ’90s love ballad.

Recorded a cover of “My Love” for the Little Texas tribute album, and it comes out tomorrow. I’m so stoked for y’all to hear it.”

Cooper said in a TikTok teasing the song. In the video, he is jamming out on the bus, sharing an acoustic snippet of the track,

Little Texas also took to social media to promote the cover in honor of the single’s 30th anniversary.

“Are you ready for more ‘90s Country nostalgia? This Friday, Feb 9th the tribute version of ‘My Love’ featuring our East Texas brother, Kolby Cooper drops!

Can you believe it’s been 30 years since the original release in Jan ‘94? Happy Anniversary, ‘My Love!'”

The ’90s are coming back, and in the best way possible.. turn this one all the way up.
