A little surprise Christmas present from Wyatt Flores.

Earlier this year, Wyatt recorded a cover of the 2005 hit “How To Save a Life” by The Fray for Amazon Music. And now, he’s dropped that cover for the rest of the world to listen to.

Wyatt’s cover of the song is now on Spotify and Apple Music after the surprise post-Christmas drop, and it’s one that means a lot to the 22-year old Oklahoma native.

While performing the song at the Ryman Auditorium earlier this month, Wyatt explained why he wanted to record “How To Save A Life.”

“The reason I chose this one is because I speak a lot about mental health. And I’ve lost a lot of friends here recently. I’ve lost some family to it.

And, I’m tired of losing folks, and that’s why I speak on it, and that’s why I keep talking about it. I struggle with it, the same as everyone else does.

I just hope this music has done something for y’all. That is all I want to do in life is help others. And if I can do that through this, then I’ve done something.”

It’s already an incredible cover, but knowing the meaning behind it for Wyatt just makes it all the more special.

But now that Wyatt is dropping some covers, I have one more request:
