This guy’s clearly a romantic.
A groom is going viral over on TikTok for his wedding vows – but not in a good way.
In the video, the groom named Cody keeps his vows to his future bride short and sweet:
“I promise to smack that ass every chance I get.”
Classy.
The officiant even gives Cody an opportunity to redeem himself:
“Is that it? Come on Cody. Are you sure?”
But Cody admits he didn’t write anything else, so…yeah, that was it.
“That’s what you’re going out with? Alright. Cool.”
The bride just stands there awkwardly laughing, while Cody jokes that they’ve “made it this long” so he doesn’t seem too bothered by the…well, untraditional vows.

It’s hard to tell what the bride really thought of her new husband’s performance…but the internet, on the other hand, had no problem quickly voicing their opinions.

Of course we don’t know anything about the couple. Maybe she loved it. Maybe it’s just their sense of humor. Wouldn’t be the first time that the internet judged somebody and got it completely wrong.
But either way, this kinda feels like a “read the room” situation…and Cody definitely wasn’t reading this one.
