Riley Green’s “Different ‘Round Here” Is Officially Certified Platinum

Riley Green’s fan-favorite song “Different ‘Round Here” has officially been certified Platinum by the RIAA, which means it has moved over one million units since it was released in 2019:

“Different ‘Round Here” was the title track to Riley’s 2019 debut studio album, and was written by Riley along with Randy Montana and Jonathan Singleton.

The subject matter is right in Riley’s typical wheelhouse about being proud of where he’s from and who raised him, as it finds him reminiscing on the best parts of small town life and what makes it so special.

Riley also recently rereleased a version of “Different ‘Round Here” as an official single with Luke Combs earlier this year, so it could end up being a Top 10 hit at country radio before it’s all said and done, too.

And while I love hearing Luke’s pure country vocals on this song with the new rendition, something about the original just hits different… if you know, you know.
