Donald Trump Is Selling Pieces Of The Suit He Wore In His Mugshot For $5,000

I can’t imagine paying $5,000 for a suit.

Of course my job doesn’t exactly force me to dress up for work everyday. As I write this I’m sitting here in a John Deere Green t-shirt and shorts, despite the fact that it’s 40 degrees outside, because that’s life when you work remotely. And it rocks.

But I’ve had jobs where I’ve had to wear suits on a regular basis. It sucked. But I would just hit up the Men’s Wearhouse when they were doing those 2-for-1 sales, grab one in blue and one in black, and there was my wardrobe for a few hundred bucks.

But paying $5,000 for ONE suit? Insane.

And paying $5,000 for a cut up PIECE of a suit? That’s when you know you have too much money.

Of course this isn’t any ordinary suit we’re talking about.

Former President Donald Trump is selling pieces of the suit that he wore during his infamous Fulton county, Georgia mugshot for a whopping 5 grand as part of his latest set of digital trading cards.

Individually the NFTs go for $99, but if you buy 47 of them, you’ll get a physical trading card, complete with a piece of the suit that 45 was wearing when he was booked on the charges that include racketeering, perjury, and conspiracy to commit election fraud.

Trump announced the offer in a video, calling the

“We’ll mail you a beautiful trading card. It is an authentic piece of the suit I wore when I took that now-famous mugshot. And it was a great suit, believe me. A really good suit. It’s all cut up and you’re going to get a piece of it.

I’m going to be autographing some of them. A true collector’s item. This is something to give to your family, to your kids, grandchildren.”

But that’s not all: Anyone who buys 47 of the cards and gets a piece of the suit will also be able to join Trump for a dinner at his Florida estate, Mar-a-Lago. (But you’ll be responsible for all of your travel and expenses).

This is the third batch of digital trading cards that the former president has released, with both of the former drops selling out.

It’s the first time that a physical trading card has been offered, and the website says that the suit was hand-delivered by Trump to the company that’s producing the NFTs before being authenticated by MEARS Authentication LLC, which called the suit “the most historically significant artifact in United States history.” (That seems like a bit of a stretch, no?)

It gets even better though: If you have an extra $10k laying around, you can buy 100 of the digital trading cards and get a piece of the suit AND a piece of the tie from the mugshot.

What a steal.

But make sure you read the fine print before breaking out your credit card (or logging into your crypto wallet). Apparently, if they aren’t able to send out the physical cards, you’ll be getting a bonus digital card for your $5k instead.

And who can put a price on that, really?

If you’ve got any Christmas shopping left on your list, it looks like President Trump’s got you covered…but it’s going to cost you.
