Remember When Aaron Lewis Said He Didn’t Learn Spanish Because He Was Too Busy Staring At His Teacher’s Boobs?

This was a wild one…

Aaron Lewis, who is the lead singer of Staind while also touring as a solo country artist, has made quite a few headlines over the years for some of his antics on stage.

He’s not afraid to use his microphone to go on political rants, like the time he told Joe Biden to “quit trying to ruin my f*cking country.” And of course in 2021 he released “Am I The Only One,” an anthem of sorts criticizing the state of the country today.

But he’s also drawn some controversy for some of the things he’s said, like back in 2019 when Lewis left the stage early during a Texas show after being asked to sing in Spanish:

“I’m sorry, I don’t know how to speak Spanish, I’m American.”

After the remarks drew criticism and accusations of racism, Lewis would then go on to try to defend himself at a later show by explaining why he’s not racist – and why he can’t speak Spanish:

“There is an actual definition in the dictionary. And it says judging someone by the color of their skin and not by the content of their character. And I’m not really sure how the f*ck not speaking Spanish falls into any of that in any way, shape or form.

There’s been some f*cking times where I wished I did speak Spanish. But I don’t.

My Spanish teacher had amazingly beautiful breasts, and I really didn’t pay all that much attention in Spanish class.”

There you have it. It’s not that he’s racist, he was just too busy looking at his teacher’s boobs to learn Spanish.
