If you want to hear some harmonies, look no further than Jonathan and Abigail Peyton.
Jonathan Peyton just released his latest single “Insane,” and with his wife Abigail bringing the heavenly harmonies, as she always does, this is one of his best tunes yet. Stripped-back and intimate, in typical fashion for the duo, the understated instrumentation provides the backdrop for these artists to let their top-tier vocals run with their harmonies and melodies.
And while Peyton’s songwriting is always great, this seems to be some of his best work yet. With allegorical storytelling and descriptive lyricism, “Insane” follows someone close to the narrator who is at their wits end and on the run from something that has seemingly torn their world apart.

Peyton has released several singles this year, and while the details are yet to be announced, he has been working with Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit guitarist and up and coming producer Sadler Vaden (Morgan Wade, Drayton Farley) on his next project.
And if the singles he’s released lately are any indication, it’s going to be a well-deserved breakthrough for Jonathan Peyton.
