“Nobody Got Arrested, That’s Why This Country Is Great” – Bill Burr On His Wife Flipping Off Donald Trump

Bill Burr isn’t making any apologies for his wife.

Of course, she made headlines last weekend at UFC 295 when threw up some double middle fingers at former President Donald Trump, who entered the arena alongside Kid Rock, UFC President Dana White and news commentator Tucker Carlson.

It’s no surprise that there was a ton of backlash on the internet towards Burr and his wife, and now, he’s taking the opportunity to address his critics.

In a conversation with Rich Eisen about the Jim Harbaugh Michigan scandal, Bill compared it to the Patriots deflategate debacle and how the Indianapolis Colts (a rival of New England at the time) complained about New England, even though they were doing some shady stuff too.

He likened it to a Donald Trump fan who likes to bash on Joe Biden, but then gets upset when anyone criticizes their candidate:

“It’s like those Trump guys, they’re always going, ‘You snowflakes, F your feeling.’ And then you make fun of Trump and they’re like, ‘Oh my God, that’s so disrespectful.’

It’s like you saying ‘F Joe Biden,’ you can’t have it both ways so that’s my thing as a Pats fan, if you’re doing it to quit your crying.”

To which, Rich asked about his wife throwing double birds at Trump during UFC 295.

Bill responded:

“I love my wife, you know where you stand with her. The guy walked into the arena, everybody cheered, she gave him the finger, nobody got arrested, that’s why this country’s great. Everybody expressed themselves, can we all be adults?

I don’t know about you, but I came here to go to the fights. I didn’t know I was going to the Republican National Convention.”

He added that much like Harbaugh, Trump is also getting the Michigan treatment right now:

“He’s another guy, Donald Trump, he’s getting the Michigan treatment.

You know how many people you can accuse of that, falsifying your assets? How come they’re not going after the banks? I can just walk into a bank and be like ‘my house is worth 5 trillion dollars can I have a 30 million dollar loan?'”

He ain’t wrong about that…
