Incase you haven’t heard, it’s been a rough season for the Las Vegas Raiders, particularly on offense.

I mean c’mon, when you have arguably the best wide receiver in the league in Davante Adams, a great running back like Josh Jacobs, and a quarterback who has led a team to a Super Bowl twice like Jimmy Garoppolo, expectations must be through the roof, right?

Well, things have backfired tremendously, and the Raiders are a lowly 3-5 while averaging less than 16 points per game. In fact, things have gotten so bad that the Raiders have fired head coach Josh McDaniels and general manager David Ziegler, while also benching Garoppolo, who is getting paid a whopping $33.75 million this season by the way.

The Raiders might be so done with Jimmy G, that they’ve decided to start rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell instead.

Many Raiders fans and critics have pointed to Garoppolo as the reason for the offensive woes this season, and lack of targets to Davante Adams.

So, as you can imagine, when the Raiders announced on social media that it was Jimmy G’s birthday 32nd today, the comments lit up like a Christmas tree for all the wrong reasons. I mean, they just dragged him up to the chopping block, and let social media do the rest.

Raiders fans are not, in fact, wishing their quarterback a happy birthday. It’s the complete opposite… rookie move from the social media team.
