Looks like G is finally ready to open his bar for business.

Garth Brooks just announced the very first concert that will take place there, which is slated for Black Friday on Friday, November 24th as what appears to be the official opening weekend.

The bar, officially dubbed Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk, has been in the works for quite some time now, and even features a police station next door (I know, so Garth), which you can read more about HERE.

This concert will be the first opportunity for fans to get into the bar, though unfortunately you can’t buy tickets and have to listen to his new radio station The BIG 615 on TuneIn for a chance at getting in (also such a Garth move, but I digress…)

Garth says he can’t wait to perform for fans on Black Friday, adding that it will be “off the chain”:

“How do you open a Friends in Low Places bar??? With a Garth concert! This is going to be off the chain.

Black Friday, brand new bar, in the home of Country Music… Hollywood couldn’t write a better script. I can NOT wait!”

To be among the first to enter the contest, you have to download the TuneIn App and favorite The BIG 615.

After doing so, fans will be notified on Monday, October 16th with the full instructions on how to enter the contest.

I have to say, it will be really fun to hear this one live at its new namesake next month if you’re lucky enough to get in…
