The yodel kid has made it.

From singing on the aisles of his local Walmart to taking the stage with Zach Bryan, this young artist has seen it all.

Mason Ramsey was the surprise guest during the first night of Zach Bryan’s stop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Personally, I think that this might be my favorite of the “Revival” guests thus far on the Burn, Burn, Burn tour.

Zach has been spotted in a Mason Ramsey shirt before, including recently during his performance at Rock the South, so he’s obviously a fan of the Yodel Kid.

And in Tulsa, Mason stepped out onto the stage, fully outfitted with a giant American flag featuring a headshot of Bryan from when he was serving our nation.

He kills the lyrics, and at the end of the chorus, he yells into the mic:

“LET’S GOOO.”

He then continues around the stage, waving the flag around, and the crowd ATE it up.

Mason also took to his Instagram to share a clip from the performance, noting how good it felt to be back on stage.

Every time I write an article about a “Revival” performance, I am never sure how the next one will get better, but somehow they do, and I keep wishing I could experience them all in person.

Maybe I will see you all here again tomorrow after seeing who Bryan features during his second night in Tulsa.

I think if Mason had thrown in a little yodel at the end, BOK Center would have burned down…

Mason recently stepped back into the limelight after taking a few years away from music. Mother nature took its toll, and he doesn’t have quite the same vocals we fell in love with back in 2018 when he went viral.

However, now as a teenager, he has stepped back into the studio and is putting out new music that still highlights his talent and his matured sound.

During his time away from the music world, Mason was humbly working at his local Subway.

Drops First Single In 4 Years With “Reasons To Come Home”

The burning question that has come across every country music fan…

What is Mason Ramsey up to nowadays?

It feels like it was yesterday when the youngin’ was videoed singing Hank Williams’ “Lovesick Blues” inside a Walmart back in 2018 at only 11-years-old.

He then proceeded to go on a pretty good run, recording songs like “Famous,” “Before I Knew It,” a feature on the “Old Town Road” remix, and then there’s the unspeakable “Twang” that me and my brother were ashamedly jamming to before getting into a five car pile up on the way down to the beach back in 2019. (Everybody was okay).

They weren’t very deep songs, but they are all feel-good guilty pleasure songs that you may not mind turning up in the car every now and then.

However, the kid seemingly fell off the map after 2019.

Next thing you know, videos started circulating early last year of the Yodel Kid riding jet skis and working at Subway, seeming like he was just enjoying life as a normal kid away from the spotlight.

But, that all officially changed today, as Mason Ramsey is BACK.

Now 16-years-old, Ramsey dropped his latest single “Reasons To Come Home.”

The song is all about nostalgia, and having a sentimental appreciation for your small hometown.

The lyrics speak for itself:

“The things that mean the most, you see
Live in a little house
Yeah the folks who raised a man like me
Are getting older now
And I don’t see myself coming back this way
Once the ones I love are gone
‘Cause I’ve run out of reasons to come home”

Many were wondering if Ramsey would be able to keep his voice after going through puberty, and needless to say he still sounds pretty good. I’m not saying he’s still able to hit the high notes on “Twang” like he used to, but it’s good to see he’s still wanting to press on with his career in country music.
