You never know what’s going to happen on live TV.

We’ve all seen the (usually hilarious) videos of reporters being photobombed or interrupted during a live shot by somebody looking for their 15 seconds of fame.

But this reporter was photobombed not by a drunk idiot or some clown, but by a friendly cow who just wanted to say hello.

Mills Hayes, a reporter for Fox News, was doing live shot from an Iowa farm, discussing the effect that rising land costs are having on farmers in the Hawkeye State. But the star of the show was the cow that snuck up behind Hayes and nudged her way into the shot, as the surprised reporter just laughed and gave the cow some pets.

The cow then slowly wandered out of the shot, as a surprised Hayes laughed about the situation:

“I don’t know if I can be serious.”

Yeah, kinda hard to keep a straight face when you’re being photobombed by livestock.

But if you’re going to have your live shot interrupted, better by this pleasant cow than some drunk idiot – or the bull.
