Michael Jordan was in Nashville this weekend for Sunday’s Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway. The owner of 23XI Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series, which fields the #23 car for Bubba Wallace and the #45 car for Tyler Reddick, was spotted Friday night hanging out with Garth Brooks, along with Wallace and Reddick, at an event sponsored by his Cincoro Tequila.

And Sunday before the race, MJ hung out with another country music star – and one of the Tar Heels’ biggest fans.

Pictures posted by producer and musician DJ White Shadow, also known as DJWS, show Eric Church and Jordan at Nashville’s SoHo House for brunch on Sunday before the NASCAR race, along with Ben Weprin, the founder of boutique real estate investment management firm AJ Capital Partners and partner in Church’s upcoming Nashville bar, Chief’s.

Of course Jordan is the greatest UNC Tar Heels alum of all time, and Church was also recently announced as part of an ownership group that bought Jordan’s majority share in the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets, though MJ will retain a minority stake.

Church and Jordan were also spotted hanging out in Nashville last year around this time, as the two sat around and sipped Jordan’s Cincoro Tequila along with Weprin ahead of last year’s NASCAR race.
