An incredible show for a great cause.

Miranda Lambert just announced her first-ever Music for Mutts benefit concert, which will raise money for her MuttNation Foundation that she founded the 501c3 nonprofit with her mother, Bev, in 2009.

Slated for Saturday, October 5th at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater, Miranda will headline the concert, in addition to performances by a lineup of her animal-loving artist friends that are still to be announced.

Miranda says that she wanted to do something special to celebrate the 15th anniversary of MuttNation, and the weekend will also include adoption opportunities:

“I wanted to do something special to celebrate MuttNation’s 15th anniversary and thought sharing an evening of great music with some great friends that will also feature lots of mutts would be about as much fun as anything I could imagine.

We’ll have an adoption event and lots of other activities — and just make it a big party. I hope everyone will come out and party with us.”

Tickets for the show go on sale to the public this Friday, May 10th, and the additional artists will be announced this summer:

Miranda also just released her first song in a couple years, “Wranglers,” which is her first on new label Republic Records. She’s also said that she has more new music on the way soon, and is likely dropping an album at some point in 2024 (hopefully).

I’ve had this on repeat all weekend…
