Cubs Fan Sends Phone Up The Wrigley Field Bleachers To Score Girl’s Number, Crowd Erupts When She Says Yes

You don’t know pressure, until you try shooting your shot at a sporting event.

We’ve seen it play out before several times for marriage proposals. The guy gets on one knee sweating bullets in front of thousands of fans, and he’s going to walk out of there the happiest human on the planet, or with his hat down over his face in complete embarrassment because the girl of his dreams just said “no.”

And then there’s this guy, who did a fake proposal to his girlfriend with a ring pop. Yeah… he got clocked in the face:

But I don’t know what’s more nerve racking. Proposing in front of thousands of fans, or shooting your shot with a girl you’ve never seen or met before in your life, and walking across a whole section of fans to do it.

If she says yes, you’re going to get to enjoy the rest of the baseball game knowing you have some digits.

And if she turns you down, you have to walk back in shame knowing every eye in that section is looking down on you.

Needless to say, it takes some guts.

But here’s this guy, who just decided to say “f*ck it” while watching the Chicago Cubs game at Wrigley Field, and called on the crowd to get his phone several rows back. It was an immediate “man mission” moment, a fairly common phenomenon where males, who don’t know each other, instantly and effortlessly, get on the same page to achieve a common goal.

In this case, it was getting those digits from the cute blonde who was sitting quite a few rows up.

The dudes create an assembly line to get the girl his phone, and the whole section was pulling for him, but you already know this guy’s heart was beating out of his chest.

Sure enough, she said yes, and the whole section erupts in cheers. As the phone makes its way back to our hero, he gives her a call, she picks up, and my man can breathe easy.

I mean c’mon, this guy had to feel like king of the world after this gutsy move.

The video has since garnered over 4.5 million views on TikTok.

Chicago Cubs Crank Morgan Wallen Ahead Of Spring Training No-Hitter

Baseball is BACK.

Of course, Whiskey Riff was originally founded in Chicago by two lifelong Cubs fans, so we’re paying extra close attention to the action this season.

Cubs pitcher Justin Steele, who is perhaps tracking to be club’s ace by the end of the season, threw the first Spring Training no-hitter in franchise history earlier this year.

In addition to the starter Steele, the Cubs got combined no-hit performances from Javiar Assad, Brad Boxberger, Adbert Alzolay, Jeremiah Estrada, Cam Sanders and Nick Burdi.

But… there might be another secret to Justin Steele’s success… Morgan Wallen.

Apparently Steele was listening to the new album, One Thing At A Time, on repeat during the spring, like pretty much everybody else across the country, and it looks like it got the job done.

When asked by broadcasters, Steele said:

“Oh my goodness, I’ve been listening to it non-stop.

On my way to the field in the morning and on the way to the here for this game, that’s all I’ve been bumping is the new Morgan Wallen.”

Of course, Morgan will be playing Wrigley Field later this summer as part of his One Night At A Time World Tour, and it looks like the Cubs will be off that night… better believe Justin Steele will be in the crowd.

Morgan, along with support from Parker McCollum, Ernest and Bailey Zimmerman, will make their way to the Northside on Friday June 23rd.
