Country Thunder Arizona has unveiled what I can only imagine is its first headline teaser, and country music fans are excitedly trying to crack the code.
North America’s largest country music festival brand has something exciting in store for Florence, Arizona when Country Thunder comes to town next year. The highly-anticipated festival – which boasts past headliners like Brooks & Dunn, Zach Top, Riley Green and Eric Church, just to name a few – is all set for April 8 through the 11 of 2027.
Well, all but their lineup announcement, that is. Country Thunder Arizona and the other sites underneath the Country Thunder umbrella are in the process of making their headliners known. As their social media teams have put it, the lineups are “loading,” which is only making the anticipation for Country Thunder Arizona (and Country Thunder Saskatchewan and Country Thunder Wisconsin) grow that much more.
Country Thunder Arizona has kicked off the “headliner teaser fun” by sharing pink billboards with white cowgirl boots all over Phoenix, Arizona.
It’s the first clue to who could be headlining Country Thunder Arizona in 2027, and fans are already throwing out their best guesses – and assuming it has to be one of the many female artists that are currently thriving in the country music world. Names like Lainey Wilson (who has previously headlined the festival), Megan Moroney, and Ella Langley have all been shouted out as guesses in the comments section of this post that Country Thunder AZ recently shared.
Well… who do you think is behind the pink and white cowgirl boots?
Some fans are hypothesizing that Lainey Wilson has a new line of boots out, and the boots in the social media post (and on the billboards) could be a big clue. Others are guessing that it’s a nod to Ella Langley and everything she’s doing to put country music on the map. Then you’ve got a large amount of fans seeing the pink, and seeing the white boots, and putting those together to conclude that it’s got to be a Megan Moroney teaser.
We’ll know soon enough who the headliner actually is… but even though it’s still being kept a secret, for now, there’s no doubt that it’ll be one of the biggest acts in all of country music. That’s just what Country Thunder Arizona does, and will be doing when their festival dates roll around in April of 2027.
It’s really no surprise that the Country Thunder brand continues to deliver on all fronts, considering it’s become the premiere festival producer both in the United States and across the world. Their track record speaks for itself, and their strong history of sold out festivals shows that there’s not much that compares when it comes to being the top-tier, global live music brand for country music.
