Great things are on the way from Ella Langley.

The up-and-comer just announced that her debut EP Excuse the Mess will be out everywhere next month on May 19th.

She also revealed that the first single, “That’s Why We Fight,” will be dropping here pretty soon on April 21st:

“I’m so excited to announce that my debut EP ‘Excuse the Mess’ is coming out on May 19th!! The first single ‘That’s Why We Fight’ will be out on April 21st!

I’ve been waiting so long to share this music with y’all & I’m so excited for you guys to hear it 🤍”

Ella has been on my radar for a little while now, as she’s posted some awesome covers of songs like Whiskey Myers’ “Stone” and Cody Jinks’ “Loud and Heavy” that immediately caught my attention.

And now that she’s officially signed with Columbia Records, it’s only the beginning for the Alabama native, as she gears up to release her first official studio project in the form of this new EP.

I can’t wait to hear everything she has up her sleeve soon:

Ella made her Grand Ole Opry debut back in February, and is gearing up to hit the road with Jon Pardi this summer on his Mr. Saturday Night world tour, as well.

And make sure you check out the teaser for “That’s Why We Fight” while you’re here… it sounds like it has a pretty rockin’ production and super catchy melody, and I already have it stuck in my head:

Ella most recently released “Country Boy’s Dream Girl” last year:
