Oh God please no.
We all know Kim Kardashian as the star of the smash hit reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and being Kanye West’s ex-wife.
Seriously, she just kind of feels like one of those people who has been famous my whole life for absolutely no reason.
However, it appears that she’s ready to make another jump in her career, by dipping her toes in acting (And I’m not talking about reality TV and/or sex tapes).
Kim K posted a teaser for the latest American Horror Story season, and sure enough, her name is right up there alongside longtime AHS star Emma Roberts.
Co-creator Ryan Murphy announced to The Hollywood Reporter:
“Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family. Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture.
Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time she’s played a role in a movie or show, as she’s had minor roles in Disaster Movie, Deep in the Valley, Tyler Perry’s Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor, and PAW Patrol: The Movie, but judging by this teaser, she appears to be one of the stars of this upcoming season, and this will be by far her biggest acting credit to date.
Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t picture Kim K playing a role in any kind of serious film or show.
