Never heard of the Hillbilly Margarita? Don’t worry I had no idea what it was until recently.
If you’re like me, you haven’t drank Mountain Dew since the days of giving your buddies a lift on your Mongoose pegs, but we’re all adults now and we need simple cocktails that will do the job and do it well.
This drink couldn’t be easier to make, will most definitely get you sideways, and is CHEAP. Is there ever a bad time for a margarita? I think not – perfect for any occasion and any season.
Hillbilly Margarita Recipe:
– Mountain Dew
– tequila of your choice – you can go cheap if you want as the Mountain Dew masks quite a bit
– lime wedge/salt rim if you’re feelin’ fancy
That’s it – Dew and tequila. Redneck ingenuity at its best.
