Morgan Wade Performs Stripped Back Version Of “Wilder Days” Alongside Producer Sadler Vaden

I could listen to Morgan Wade sing with just an acoustic guitar all damn day.

She’s done a few little performances on her front porch, and even one at the Ryman recently, but not long ago, she returned to the studio she record her 2021 debut studio album, Reckless, and did an acoustic performance of the lead single “Wilder Days.”

Alongside her producer, Sadler Vaden, they blow it out of the water on this stripped back rendition. And I’ve said it a million times, and I’ll keep saying it, but Morgan’s gritty, raspy voice just shines in this kind of setting.

Seriously, I would die for an full acoustic album from the Virginia native one day:

“‘Wilder Days’ acoustic in the studio with Sadler Vaden — the same studio we created it in!”

Fellow artist Parker McCollum seemed to enjoy it as much as I did, commenting this on her Instagram post:

“The real deal.”

Couldn’t agree more… check it out:
