Welp, that’s not gonna land you a job…
Free agent quarterback Cam Newton isn’t doing himself any favors in his latest interview, which has now caught the attention of the internet… unfortunately for him.
Sitting down with the Barstool Sports podcast, Million Dollarz Worth Of Game, Cam started talking about his upbringing, saying that he was raised in a “three-parent” household.
Referring to his father and mother, who have been married for over 35 years, his grandmother also played a pivotal role in his childhood:
“I had a perfect, a perfect example of what a man was in my life by my father. My parents have been together for 36, 37 years now and it’s a beautiful thing.
I grew up in a three-parent household. My mom, my father, and my grandmother. And I knew what a woman was, not a bad bitch.”
However, what he said next set the internet ablaze:
“A bad bitch is a person who is just, you know, ‘Girl, I’m a bad bitch, I’m doing this, I’m doing that. I look the part but I don’t act that part.’
And there’s a lot of women who are bad bitches, and I say bitches in a way not to degrade a woman, but just to go off the aesthetic of what they deem is a boss chick.
Now, a woman for me is, handling your own but knowing how to cater to a man’s needs right? And I think a lot of times when you get that aesthetic of, ‘I’m a boss bitch, Imma this, Imma that.’
No, baby. But you can’t cook. You don’t know when to be quiet. You don’t know how to allow a man to lead.”

And while the video cuts out at the perfect time to fire up the tasty quote machine, Cam did immediately follow that it up with a critique on men as well.
“I’m also gonna tell the men to start being men bro… that sucka shit should not be rewarded.”
Ultimately, Cam thinks men should get back to leading and woman should be more submissive, however, men have to actually step up and lead for that to happen.
But needless to say, the whole “can’t cook and don’t know when to be quiet” part didn’t sit to well with folks.
