Kid Rock Slams Joe Biden & Dr. Fauci, Chants ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ In New Single, “We The People”

Kid Rock country Music

If you thought Kid Rock was gonna drop a few off-the-wall singles, make a few headlines, put a few bucks in his pocket, send the mainstream media into a frenzy, and fade into the background, you thought wrong.

In addition to announcing the upcoming Bad Reputation Tour, Ol’ Bob just dropped three new singles, each one leaning towards a different genre.

The most polarizing, “We The People,” is the signature Kid Rock rap-rock style that made him famous, while “Rockin'” is more of a steel-heavy country-ish tune. And finally, “The Last Dance” is a classic rock and roll song honoring his parents 50-year love story.

In a Facebook announcement video, Kid Rock detailed the upcoming tour and gave a little insight into the new music he released today.

“We The People,” the one that will inevitably have everybody talking, is a commentary on everything going on in the world right now. The song begins with a fiery rant, taking shots at President Biden, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Facebook and Twitter, the mainstream media and more, but by the end, he calls for love and unity.

Ironic? Yeah, a bit…

“A hard rock rap tune… you know all the craziness going on in our world the last several years: politics and the polarization and watching where this country is headed, the social justice, just constantly from being a Trump fan and being attacked in the media everywhere day in and day out.

I don’t mind taking a good punch, but I hit back motherfucker and I hit hard. ‘We The People’ gets into that.

And there is a little bit of unity at the end of the song because at the end of the day, I had to get a lot of this stuff out. I write what’s real to me and once I get this stuff out, songs like ‘Don’t Tell Me How To Live’ and ‘We The People,’ eventually I’d really like to get back to bringing people together.

We can believe differently, I think that’s one of things that makes this country great. I think the power that be want to divide us, and that’s no good… united we stand, divided we fall… the old cliché.”

Here’s a look at the first verse:

“We the people in all we do
Reserve the right to scream “Fuck you”
Wear your mask, take your pills
Now a whole generation’s mentally ill
(Hey-yeah) man, fuck Fauci…”

“We The People”

“The Last Dance”

“A rock and roll song, loosely based on my parents and their relationship, they’ve been married for well over 50 years… how the hell that happens in this day and age I don’t know, but God bless ’em.”

“Rockin'”

A country feeling song, kind of a country R&B… a very pretty song.”

Mr. Rock also recently announced his Bad Reputation Tour, which he says may be the last large arena tour of his career, featuring support from Grand Funk Railroad, Jason Bonnam, and Foreigner, with special appearances from Trey Lewis.
