Keilly Reilly Says If Fans Want Certain ‘Yellowstone’ Characters To Return In ‘Dutton Ranch,’ They Just Have To Speak Up

Dutton Ranch star Kelly Reilly is letting Yellowstone fans know that they’ve got tremendous power in how certain aspects of the spinoffs play out.

Though the flagship series ended nearly two years ago, Yellowstone is alive and well in 2026. Both Marshals and Dutton Ranch have already wrapped their first seasons this year, and the Kayce Dutton-led CBS series is already set to return for more episodes later this fall.

As for Dutton Ranch, it’s also been renewed for second season, and after seeing the return of Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler to their television screens, fans can’t wait for their favorite power couple to continue their story. And if fans are hoping that some more familiar faces pop up in future Dutton Ranch episodes, this TV Insider interview from Reilly makes it seem like the fans could play a big role in making that happen.

Reilly has previously mentioned that she misses the old cast from Yellowstone. That quote has led to a follow up questions about who Beth Dutton wouldn’t mind to cross paths with again from her old life back in Montana. Every time she’s asked, the Dutton Ranch star doesn’t have to think long on her answer. She’d love to see the beloved character played by Jen Landon somehow make it down to Texas:

“I’d like Teeter to come back. That’s who I would like. She’s from Texas. Jen Landon, she’s one of my favorite people in the world to work with, and I’d love her to come back and play. We don’t get to make those decisions. There are people way above our heads who get to choose that, but we can definitely voice them and see if they think it’s a good idea. But if the fans want it, they should probably say so.”

You heard her, Yellowstone fans. Get the “Bring Teeter Back” social media campaign going.

There’s been a whole lot of speculation in regards to a Dutton Ranch-Marshals crossover. It certainly seems like a Beth and Kayce Dutton reunion is inevitable. And as for the suggestion Kelly dropped, Jennifer Landon’s Teeter returning seems very manageable, and I’d even say likely if it wasn’t established in Yellowstone that Teeter is most comfortable in Montana.

The crossover with the highest likelihood of happening has to be Kayce and Beth. Even Cole Hauser – who plays the incomparable Rip Wheeler – has mentioned the brother and sister have to cross paths again sooner rather than later:

“Beth misses her brother. It’d be fun to see actually Kayce and Rip get along. Have a scene where they’re actually happy together. I would absolutely love to see that and see it written and actually have some fun with him in some capacity.”

Sounds like the fans have their hands full getting Yellowstone crossovers and cameos to happen, but with how Kelly Reilly spoke, if the audience voices their desires loudly enough, the “higher ups” will have no choice but to listen.

And it seems like more of the Yellowstone family will come along at some point. After all, Reilly is one of the executive producers for her show… so if she wants some old faces to pop back up in the spinoff series, she could probably push along with the fans to make that happen.
