Is there an album I’m more excited about than Cody Johnson’s right now?
The answer is no.
Titled Human, it’s set for release in October, and as CoJo promised on our Whiskey Riff Raff podcast, he’s releasing two songs each month, one from Side A and one from Side B, until October.
And one of my favorites so far? The boot stompin’ breakup anthem from Side B, “Longer Than She Did.”
CoJo just released a live performance video for the new song, giving fans an inside look at the view from the stage.

Also as promised, CoJo’s documentary is set to be released next month.
Titled Dear Rodeo: The Cody Johnson Story, the film will be released in a limited number of theaters across the country on August 10th.
The film will feature fellow country singer and former rodeo star Reba McEntire, as well as Taya Kyle, the wife of the late, decorated Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle.
