What a ride “Dear Rodeo” has been for Cody Johnson.
A pivotal song, both for his career and personally, it started out as a deep cut on a great album, graduated to a single, was released as a duet version featuring a fellow rodeo-turned-country music singer in that of Reba McEntire, and now, we’re getting a documentary film to accompany this song.
And today, CoJo shared the trailer:
“Many of you have heard me mention the ‘Dear Rodeo’ documentary film I’ve been working on. I’m excited to share my ‘Dear Rodeo’ story with y’all. Here’s an exclusive premiere of the official trailer.”
Still no word on a release date quite yet, but if you love rodeo and you love country music, and especially if you love Cody Johnson, you’re not gonna wanna miss it.
