A close-up of a sign

It’s happening.

With the new season of Yellowstone coming this fall, plus Cole Hauser, AKA Rip Wheeler, confirming that Season 5 is already in the works, there’s a ton to be excited about in the world of Yellowstone.

And aside from Yellowstone itself, two new spinoff series are slated to debut in the next year or so, including the prequel story Y:1883and another based on the iconic 6666’s Ranch in Texas.

As for the 6666’s spinoff, it’s said to feature Ryan Bingham and Jefferson White reprising their roles as Walker and Jimmy. As for the prequel however, we have a little more information:

“‘Y: 1883’ follows the Dutton family as they embark on a journey west through the Great Plains toward the last bastion of untamed America.

It is a stark retelling of Western expansion, and an intense study of one family fleeing poverty to seek a better future in America’s promised land — Montana.”

And the good news?

They’re already getting ready to start filming.

According to the Fort Worth Star Telegrama casting and crew call has been put out in Fort Worth, Texas, looking for extras and crew members to begin filming.

The call was posted with a clip from the Y:1883 trailer, featuring the ominous line:

“I don’t care if you live or die. But should you live, you tell them about me.”
