Morgan Wallen To Sit Down With Michael Strahan For First Interview Since Racial Slur Incident

The time has come.

It was only a matter of time before Morgan Wallen was going to face the music (no pun intended).

Since the racial slur incident back in February, he’s stayed relatively quiet. Aside from issuing an apology and an update, he really hadn’t been in the spotlight at all until recently.

But with “Sand In My Boots” charting again, him debuting a couple new songs on social media, a couple random tweets here and there… it’s now time to do the official “first interview” before the “comeback” is solidified.

And Michael Strahan of Good Morning America is going to be the one to do it.

In a new teaser, GMA announced that Morgan Wallen will be sitting down with them for an exclusive, and Strahan asks Morgan to address those who claim that Morgan’s sit down  is just to “clean up his image” and that “it’s all a performance.”

And Morgan responded:

“I understand that I’m not ever gonna make everyone happy, but man, I can only come tell my truth and that’s all I know to do.”

Stay tuned…
