Kelly Clarkson Sings The Bejeezus Out Of George Strait’s “You Look So Good In Love”

What do we have to do to get a Kelly Clarkson country album?

We’ve seen her cover everything from Travis Tritt and Deana Carter, to Johnny CashChris Stapleton, and she even started tearing up singing with Garth Brooks on her daytime talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show.

The Texas native is a diehard country fan, and we know she’s got the skills to pull it off… make it happen Kelly.

On a recent episode of the show, she tackled George Strait’s 1983 classic, “You Look So Good In Love.”

Written by Glen Ballard, Rory Bourke and Kerry Chater, it was released as the lead single from his Right or Wrong album. It was also recorded by Mickey Gilley in in the same year, for his You’ve Really Got A Hold On Me album.

It followed up “Fool Hearted Memory” and “A Fire I Can’t Put Out” as George’s third career No. 1 single.

And Kelly knocked it out of the park.

And speaking of George Strait covers… how about this one.

Cody Johnson also singing the HELL out of “You Look So Good In Love.”
